Cut-out Snowflakes Craft

Materials you will need:
Sheet of white square paper
Pencil
Scissors

How to make Cut-out Snowflakes Craft:

1. If you don't have square paper (e.g. like me you only have some white A4) then fold one side down from the top corner top the bottom edge and then cut of the extra section (you can use that for some paper chain cutting later!)
2. If you are using square paper, then you¡¯ll just need to fold the paper in half diagonally.
3. Once this is done, fold each corner up, at about a 60 degree angle. Another way to think about it is to fold the corner up so it crosses of the way up the opposite edge. You could quite easily measure that with a ruler, but I just estimated.
4. Do the same with the other corner, so you have a symmetrical triangle with two point tails sticking out the top.
5. Sketch your snowflake design. I've shown two here ¨C they are both classic 6-sided snowflakes but with a very different look each. I just free-handed them, but you use a ruler and measure the lines for a completely symmetrical snowflake.
6. Carefully cut around the edges of your pencil lines using a pair of scissors.
7. Unfold your snowflake. Stick a few up on a wall or window, or use a hole punch and thread with silver string and then hang on a Christmas tree.
