Snowman Paper Chain Craft

Materials you will need:
Sheet of rectangular paper
Pencil
Coloured pencils or pens
Toilet roll
Glitter
Glue
Scissors

How to make Snowman Paper Chain Craft:

1. Fold your paper in half, then in half again. You could keep on going to make more repeats of the design, but the thicker it is the trickier the design is to cut out.
2. Unfold the paper, and then refold along the lines you've just made, alternating the direction of the folds to make a concertina accordion fold.
3. Draw your design lightly in pencil onto the paper. It doesn't matter if you make a few mistakes, because you'll cut round the edges anyway.
4. Carefully cut out the design - make sure you only cut the sections that you plan to cut. It's easy to go to far, and then your whole chain will fall apart. There needs to be a bit of paper at each edge that will hold the chain together. So, in this design, the snowman isn't fully round. He has flat edges where he joins on his body and his hat.
5. Unfold the paper so you now have 4 plain snowmen, or 8, if you folded one extra time in the earlier step.
6. Using pencil give each snowman eyes, mouth, buttons and a scarf.Colour in each snowman in bright colours.Use glue and glitter to make the snowmen even more sparkly.
