Rose Fairy Perfume Craft

Materials you will need:
Handful of Rose petals
Handful of lavender leaves/flowers
One glass jar
One cup filtered water
Tea strainer

How to make Rose Fairy Perfume Craft:

1. Use some scissors to pick your roses, being careful not to prick your fingers on the sharp thorns.
2. Next, pull all the petals off the rose flowers and lavender flowers (optional), rinse very gently (to remove any unwanted dirt) and place in an ordinary glass jar.
3. Fill the glass jar with filtered water.
4. Shake your jar for one minute, then leave the petals to infuse in the sun (if possible) on a window ledge for one week, shaking occasionally.
5. After one week, you can strain the petals away from the water and put your special perfume in it's own bottle. We left a few rose petals in the perfume bottle to make it look "flowery". It should smell sweet and be fit for use by any nearby fairies or princesses.
6. Maybe tie your bottle up with a ribbon and give some Rose Fairy Perfume to a good friend or to mum or grandma as a hand made present?
