Paper Pinwheel Flower Craft

Materials you will need:
Paper
Ruler
Pencil
Scroll tool
Glue or tape

How to make Paper Pinwheel Flower Craft:

1. Measure out the width of paper you want for half of your pinwheel. I chose to create 4 cm by 30 cm strips.
2. Measure the width of the folds for your pinwheel. I have 1 cm between folds. If you are using thicker paper (construction paper or cardstock), it will make the folding easier if the lines are scored.
TIP: If you are using lighter paper, simply measure the first fold line and fold generally to that width. The lighter paper is easier to work with and the little bit of difference in width will not be noticed in the final product.
3. Start folding accordion style.
4. Once the folding is done, connect the ends with glue or tape. The paper will want to stand in a circle. Find a flat surface to glue down the center. If you are making large pinwheels, a small cardboard center will work. If you are making cards, simply paste straight to the card. Push down the center and hold until the glue has started bonding.
5. Double sided tape would be great here!
6. Add your decorations and allow to dry.
7. Give away as thank you, note cards, or birthday cards. Or hang your pinwheel to decorate for a birthday party!
