Little Hoot Garden Pot Owl Craft

Materials you will need:
1 small peat garden pot
Scissors
Glue
1 nickel
1 dime
1 small piece of orange, tan, black, yellow, and dark brown cardstock

How to make Little Hoot Garden Pot Owl Craft:

1. Cut a small diamond shape out of the orange cardstock. Trace a nickel onto the brown cardstock two times and cut out both circles. Trace a dime onto the yellow cardstock two times and cut out both circles. Cut out two black circles that are smaller than the size of a dime. Cut an oval out of the tan cardstock for the owl's body.
2. Glue the tan oval to the bottom of the peat garden pot as the body of the owl. Allow the glue to dry.
3. Glue the two brown circles together so that they are slightly overlapping. Glue the two yellow circles directly on top, followed by the two black circles. Glue the eyes to the top of the peat pot, directly above the tan oval body. Allow the glue to dry.
4. Glue the orange diamond directly centered below the owl's eyes. This is the owl's beak. Allow the glue to dry.
5. Cut out two small wing-shaped pieces of brown cardstock and glue to the center on either side of the peat garden pot. Allow the glue to dry.
6. Your Little Hoot Garden Pot Owl is now complete. Set him on your nightstand when you go to bed or tuck him in at night!
