Foam sphere

 Wool in assorted colours

Hot glue gun or clear craft glue

Buttons or pompoms to decorate

How to make Yarn Christmas Tree Craft:

1. First lay some newspaper down over your work surface to protect the table from any glue spills.

2. Make sure to add enough glue to make the wool stick well.

3. Starting at the bottom of the foam cylinder, add a dab of glue to secure the wool and start to wind the wool around the outside of the shape.

4. Keep winding the wool around, making sure the strands are close together. Also add a spot of glue occasionally to hold the wool in place.

5. If you would like to add another colour of wool, to make stripes, just cut the wool and glue the end to the foam and repeat the above steps with the different coloured yarn.

6. Once the foam shape is entirely covered in wool, cut the end of the wool and glue it to the top of the cone.

7. Now you can glue on some buttons, pom poms or sequins to decorate your tree.
