Piggy Bank Craft

Materials you will need:
Snack container with lid
Construction papert
Craft foam
Pipe cleaner
Marker
Scissors
Googly eyes
Lids
Glue and tape

How to make Piggy Bank Craft:

1. Wrap the pink paper around the container and glue the paper.
2. Parents use a knife to cut a slit in the top of the container and make sure the slit large enough for the coins to fit in.
3. Cut two thin strips of craft foam and tape or glue them to the opposite side of the canister than the slit made in step three. These will stabilize the pig and will keep him from rolling away.
4. Cover the lid and the bottom of the canister with the pink paper.
5. Twist a pink pipe cleaner around a marker and tape the tail to the removable lid of the canister.
6. Draw on eyes to the can and a smile.
