Salt Dough Owl Craft

Salt Dough Owl Craft

Materials you will need:
Salt dough
Small circular cutter or glass
Skewer or pencil
Acrylic paint
2 sequins
Thin ribbon to hang

How to make Salt Dough Owl Craft:

1. Make up a batch of Salt dough. Roll out the salt dough until it's just about a centimeter thick. Using a circular pastry cutter or small glass, cut out a circle.
2. Using the same cutter or glass, cut a small portion from the top of the circle. Use the cutter or glass and press down on each side of the owl but not all the way through. The indent created forms the wings.
3. Place on baking paper in a low oven and leave to full dry out. Depending on how thick your owl is, this could take an hour or more. Alternatively you could leave in a warm place overnight. Once fully dry and cool, you can decorate.
4. Paint with acrylic paint and once dry glue a couple of sequins on for the eyes.
