1. To make this Recycled Milk Carton Owl Bird Feeder, first lightly sand the milk cartons to help the paint adhere, and then apply two coats of white water based house paint,or whatever you have on hand. The results are a little lumpy and chalky, but this project doesn't need to be picture perfect.
2. After the paint dries cut eyes from a piece of cereal box, apply with glue and then drew details with the black permanent marker.
3. Have an adult cut out the wings and openings with a craft knife and scissors.
4. Make a hole in the top with a hole punch or something sharp, and hang somewhere the kids can see and enjoy their handiwork.
5. Fill with bird seed and enjoy the visits from your feathered friends.
